RV App Togo Debuts Mobile Wi-Fi Solution at RVX: The RV Experience

by Togo, on Mar 8, 2019 12:00:00 PM

CINCINNATI—March 8, 2019—Togo, an RV owner’s best friend and mobile roadside companion, has partnered with Winegard® Company, the leading U.S. residential, mobile and commercial connectivity solutions developer, to debut the Togo Roadlink™ C2 hardware for RVers in the U.S. Founded with the intent to simplify RV ownership, Togo launched Roadlink™ to help RV owners stay connected to the things and people that matter most while on the road.

“As part of our commitment to enhance and simplify the RV experience, we are thrilled to offer RVers the ability to roam freely,” said Togo president Dave Simmons. “We know that quality connectivity is a major roadblock to seamless, modern-day RVing. We want to allow people greater independence by offering a reliable connectivity solution they can access from across the campsite or even on the road.”

Users will also enjoy GPS-enabled location services and the ability to simply scan a QR code to pair and manage their cellular and Wi-Fi networks. With the Wi-Fi extender feature, users can maximize existing networks with their high-gain, roof mounted antenna to help overcome inconsistent campground connectivity. RVers can take technology even further with the ability to use up to 10 devices at any given time, meaning mom can work on the laptop while dad browses on his tablet and the kids post pictures to their favorite social networks.

“We are pleased to partner with Togo to bring connectivity to RV owners,” said Winegard president Grant Whipple. “Our history and commitment to providing industry-leading products that enable RVers to access 4G LTE and WiFi signals nearly anywhere makes life even better while traveling.”

Togo and Winegard will be showcasing the Togo Roadlink™ C2 hardware at the RV Industry Association’s (RVIA) first-ever RVX: THE RV EXPERIENCE at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, March 12-14.

The connectivity kit will be available for consumer pre-orders in late March 2019 at https://www.runswithtogo.com. An OEM version will also be available for pre-installation at time of vehicle manufacture.
